In2track uses pre-defined and pre-loaded requirement lists called Tracks to display to users the information needed to fulfill the components of a Program.
A program is a structured initiative designed to achieve specific objectives through defined processes and resources. It typically aims to address a particular need or gap within a community, industry, or sector by providing certification, training, resources, or other forms of support to its participants. Every program has a connected list of evidences, which a reviewing body inspects and evaluates to determine if the applicant meets the requirements and therefore can be labeled as complying with the requirements of program.
An example of a Program in this context is the Women-Owned Business Certification granted by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) or the Small Business Administration. Another example of a Program in in2track is a social compliance audit and verification protocol, such as SLCP (Social Labor Convergence Program) or WRAP (World Responsible Accredited Production).
In2track has prebuilt sets of requirements, called Tracks, that group the requirements of a program. For each requirement the system will show which evidence the applicant must provide to demonstrate compliance with the requirement. Depending on the requirement there can be more than one evidence required to demonstrate compliance. In2track also has the capacity to configure new Tracks built specifically to the needs of a customer’s program.
For instance, one customer may have an internal audit process they use to ensure their processes are uniform and workers adhere to established procedures. The program may be completely internal and not intended to be reviewed or validated by an external party. Yet, the program is of utmost importance as it allows the company to maintain continuous operations even when assigned personnel changes or the people in charge of the operation, documented with the Track, move on to other positions inside the company.
